To convert to cubic yards, multiply by conversion factor.  This is a close approximate.
Delivery prices do not include any hand or machine leveling.
We reserve the right to quote special prices on large volumes.
Orders of 13 tons or more that must be delivered in smaller quantities than full load because of site access or by customer request will be charged the less than full load price.
A 5% discount will be allowed to recognized contractors on bills paid by the 15th of the following month.  There will be no discount allowed on specially quoted material.
The contractor discount will not be allowed to customers who have been placed on a cash basis because of past payment experience.
For off season loading while the pits are closed (app Nov 15 thru Apr 15) we reserve the right to charge extra for moving of snow and opening stockpiles, or to require minimum quantities of material to be purchased. 
We reserve the right to change prices at any time or add a delivery fuel surcharge.

CONVERSION TABLES

 

 

To convert C.Y. to Tons

MULTIPLY the number of C.Y. by the Conversion Rate for that specific material (see table below).

Example: To convert 9 C.Y. of road gravel to tons you would MULTIPLY 9 x 1.5 = 13.5 tons

Example: To convert 10 C.Y. of mortar sand to tons you would MULTIPLY 10 x 1.32 = 13.2 tons

To convert Tons to C.Y.

DIVIDE the number of tons by the Conversion Rate for that specific material (see table below).

Example: To convert 23.33 tons of road gravel to C.Y. you would DIVIDE 23.33 tons by 1.5 = 15.55 C.Y.

Example: To convert 15.54 tons of topsoil to C.Y. you would DIVIDE 15.54 tons by 1.11 = 14 C.Y.

Prices are converted by the same process.

To convert our C.Y. price to it’s equal price per ton:

DIVIDE the price per C.Y. by the Conversion Rate for the specific material (see table below).

Example: To convert road gravel at pit price of $10.50 C.Y. to it’s equal ton price DIVIDE $10.50 by 1.5 = $7.00 ton

Example:To convert mortar sand at pit price of $11.75 C.Y. to it’s equal ton price DIVIDE $11.75 by 1.32 = $8.90 ton
